Support the Scene is back and ready to introduce you to some of the amazing local talent we have here, and to reacquaint you with some of your favourites. We have such an incredible music scene here in the GVA, and there are so many amazing artists just waiting for you to check them out. So, after an intensely hot and busy summer, some of our talented local artists found time to answer a few of our questions.

Q: For those who don’t know you, can you please introduce yourself and describe your sound?
We are Stories End! A Pop-Rock band from Vancouver. Our sound is inspired by Modern Demi Lovato, Paramore and Avril Lavigne.
Q: What’s one of the biggest successes you’ve had as a musician?
The release of our latest single 'Mediocre' and also 'The Outline' (Just released!).
Q: What’s your favourite venue to play?
The Roxy is always a great vibe with awesome sound. We recently played a gig at The Fox Cabaret and that was such a blast.
Q: What do you think was the best Medium for music to be on? (Vinyl, Tape, CD, Digital)?
That's a tough one. There's a huge difference in modern music distribution today compared to how it used to be. For accessibility and reach to our audience, for sure digital. BUT it's very hard to pass up on a gorgeous looking and sounding Vinyl.
Q: Who is your favourite local band to see perform around town?
There's so many great bands! We saw Landmark 20 at the Cobalt recently. They were a lot of fun and definitely recommend checking them out.
Q: What’s coming up next for your music?
Our new single 'The Outline' just released Aug 22nd! We have one more single releasing September/October then our EP in the New Year! Hoping to connect with more talented musicians.
